빅토리아 시내에 있는 차이나타운은 캐나다에서 가장 오래된 차이나타운이다.

거리에 있는 휴지통도 중국을 상징하는 빨간으로 廢紙箱 이라 금색 비슷한 색으로 써놓았다.

차이나타운에 있는 골목. 가이드 표현으로는 캐나다에서 가장 좁은 street 라고 했다.

입구는 두사람이 스쳐 지나갈 수 있는 정도의 골목길로

중간에는 식당, 상점 그리고 우리 60,70년대식 이발소도 있다.

간판엔 "신세계"라고 씌여 있는데 저 안이 신세계란 얘긴지 아니면 이곳 캐나다가 그들에게 신세계라는 건지...

내부 모습은 우리 나라 옛날이발소 그대로였다. 지난 번 중국 베이징에서 봤던 이발소와 동일한 풍경.
